Grief Service Providers Conference - April 1
French Funerals and Cremations welcomes nationally known author and speaker, Dr. Alan
Wolfelt. Dr. Wolfelt will conduct a one day conference entitled "Helping Children and Teens
Cope with Grief" A continental breakfast will be hosted by Best Friends, featuring Vaughn
Hendren. Seating is limited for this event and tickets should be purchased in advance. Please

Memorial Day - May 31
Please join us for our annual Memorial Day Services at Sunset Memorial Park. This special day
will begin with a military themed service that will include honors. Our traditional service will
follow around 11am. American flags will be given out along with cookies and lemonade. We
look forward to honoring those who gave all.
Best Friends Pet Walk - August 14
Bring your pet for a stroll around the park, a continental breakfast and doggie treat in the Centennial Urn Garden.
Annual Pumpkin Patch - October 16
Bring the kids to Sunset Memorial Park for this fun family event. A pumpkin decorating contest,
cookies, apple cider and an opportunity for a fun family picture!
Zoo Boo - October 31
Every year the Albuquerque Zoo has a safe and fun trick or treating event for the kids and French
will be there! Come by and say "Hi!" at our booth! Get your very own "Live passionately"
reminder band and sign-up for our gift basket giveaway! AND you can get a free picture of you
and your friends in your costumes. See you there!
Veterans Day - November 12
Local Boy Scouts will place remembrance flags on Veterans’ graves.
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Walk - November (T.B.D.)
French is honored to contribute to the important work that the JDRF.
Luminaria Lighting - December (T.B.D.)
Come and take a look as Sunset Memorial Park is transformed with hundreds of these traditional
New Mexican Christmas lanterns.
